So I am the bday gal today,a day that is long awaited but gets finished off with the blink of an eye.I prefer waiting for such occasions because it feels heavenly rather than the arrival of the day.My friends are such mindblowing people, the first thing that they asked me was where to come for treat and what I had to say" atleast wish toh karlo pehle":D. My cousins pet question"kitne basant paar kar liye:P" and the best way of escaping such questions"girls se age nahi poochte",growing older day by day:P.
I had to attend the calls till 2 at night because everyone was at home and had to set an alarm to wish me up.Ghhosssh, the best reason that I was told"yaar kya karen alarm ab baja or tv dekhte hue so gaye:D".Anyways, atleast due to these diwali vacations,I didn't bear those birthday bumps and those deadly rather brutal beating which leaves you with nothing much but a backache so that evryone can make out who the birthday girl is.
I clearly remember how I used to celebrate my bday during childhood days.Toffees, chocolates and which friend to be taken along for distribution(kahin woh bura maan gayi toh:P) and yup attire was something I was very particular about.I literally counted days on my fingers, kind of countdown.
The cutest gift I got this time is my brother's card:).He made it for me using all his creativity and small little brain, choo chweet:).Surprises is something I dont believe in because people around me have made me such:P they literally ask me"what do want as a gift, any ideas??" and that obviously leaves me with a smile saying"rehne do itna dimaag hi lagane padega mujhe toh whats the use:D"
With we growing up,the pattern and the ways of celebrating birthday do change.Feeling kinda grown up today, something i never felt before:).A day that makes you feel special,a day meant just for you,a day when you are made to feel that you really hold an important place(thats just a misconception for 24 hrs, people usually forget such assumptions once the next day begins:D).
enough criticizing your SMS language and grammar. Time to ignore them for a while because you seriously deserve a "Pat on your back" for putting this in such lovely words. The last part of this post was really nice. Birthdays have been very beautifully portrayed here with an essence of reality. Well done.
